I work between environmental art and ecological restoration.

Since 2021 I have worked as a nature caretaker in the field of seed-based restoration, mostly in Northern Ostrobothnia and Lapland. I map local plants, collect seeds and grow them into new habitats on land shaped or destroyed by human use. My artistic work grows out of that fieldwork. It takes the form of site-specific works and installations, and returns again to the seed — small, dormant and so captivating.

Recent works include Black Forest (2025–2026) and Welcome to Earth: 138 Seed Circles (2021) at a former gravel pit in Oulunsalo.

I am currently preparing doctoral research on environmental art as a place for multispecies encounters to University of Lapland.
